Hoosier Park to Host Team Member Talent Show to Benefit The Christian Center

Hoosier Park Racing & Casino is set to host HP on Broadway, an annual team member talent show, on Monday, September 11 starting at 6 p.m. in The Terrace Showroom. This year’s show is open to the public and will feature a dance party hosted by 106.7 WTLC’s DJ King. Admission to the public is $5 and all proceeds will directly benefit The Christian Center in Anderson.

Hoosier Park team members will perform a variety of acts in the talent show, including vocal, dance, magic, comedy, and more. Hot 96.3’s Dani D and Indiana Grand Relationship Marketing Executive Veronica Watkins will host the show.

All donations will directly benefit The Christian Center, and paying guests will receive $5 in free slot play as a thank you for their contribution. The event is free to all Hoosier Park team members.

The Christian Center is a faith-based inter-denominational organization whose aim is to nurture individuals regardless of their situation or identity. The goal of the organization is to become a hub for community partners to help relieve the strain of hunger, homelessness, and hurt by providing a safe, friendly place of protection and appreciation.

“We’re excited to present this year’s team member talent show at Hoosier Park. It’s a great way to showcase the talent that resides in our team member base through song, dance, poetry, magic, comedy, and other activities,” said MaTeka McBurrows, a member of the Hoosier Park human resources team. “It’s a win-win for everyone. Team members get to showcase their skills, guests get to enjoy the show, and the money raised goes to benefit a wonderful community organization.”

McBurrows added, “We encourage all non-participating team members as well as the whole community to come out and enjoy the event. And, don’t forget, the dance party continues after the show.”
