Horsemen's Bookkeeper and Purse Check Distribution 

To receive purse checks, either on site or by mail, horsemen must complete a W-9 and purse request form, located in the race office. Return both forms to Karen Baker, the horsemen's bookkeeper, or place them in the bookkeeper's box outside her office located in the race office building.

NOTE: All foreign owners must see the bookkeeper for additional forms.

Standardbred Checks: Purse checks and drivers' checks will be available on the backstretch in the horsemen's bookkeeper's office located in the race office. The office will be open from 3 p.m. until 30 minutes before the last claiming race each live racing program. Live racing is held Wednesday through Sunday. Purse checks are available 24 hours after each race program.

Thoroughbred Checks: For more information, contact the horsemen's bookkeeper, Karen Baker, at Ext. 1265. The horsemen's bookkeeper's office is located in the racing office.

Detention Barn

Any race with a purse of $100,000 or more, or any race designated by Hoosier Park must report to Hoosier Park detention barn by 10 a.m. on the day of the race. Security will enforce specific rules on detention days.
