Backstretch Facilities and Services
Dormitories, restrooms, locker rooms, and shower facilities are available. Dormitory room contracts are issued by the assistant director of racing, Cindy Tetuan, at (765) 609-4872.
Haircuts are available in Barn 15 in the upstairs lounge. Days and hours will be posted.
The Backstretch Kitchen is available for breakfast, specials, and short orders from early morning to the last race during live racing. The facility closes after training hours on Monday, and is closed all day on Sunday. To reach The Backstretch Kitchen, call (765) 609-4844.
Off-track laundry service is provided to the horsemen. E Z Wash picks up from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. every Thursday. They will weigh and record charges at pick-up and returns will be provided the next day (Friday). The pick-up and return is located at the dormitory entrance.
Personal mail will be placed in the mailbox located in the race office vestibule. Packages and items requiring signatures will be kept in the Guest Services Office located at the main entrance to the Grandstand. A notice will be placed in the mail box on the backstretch for these items.
Midwest Harness Supply is located just outside the racing office for the Standardbred season. To contact the tack shop, call (765) 609-4842.
Horsemen's personal checks must be approved by the general manager, the mutuel manager (or her designate), or the controller. The approved check can be cashed at the Money Room located in the lower level hall of the grandstand facility.
The clubhouse and grandstand are open seven days a week for simulcasting. Doors open at 11 a.m. Admission is free.
First class mail will be forwarded when you leave, if a forwarding address is available. After 30 days, the mail will be returned to sender. All other mail is destroyed.
All standard wagering is accepted at Hoosier Park. (Win, Place, Show, Daily Double, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, 10 cent Superfecta, 50 cent Trifecta, Pick Three, and Pick Four.) Self service machines and mutuel tellers are available during both live racing and simulcasting. The FastBet Wagering Technology is also available at Hoosier Park.
Race Replays — Live Racing
Replays will be shown prior to the racing program on the following night. Race Replays are also available on-line through the Trakus system on Hoosier Park's Website under the racing section. For a quick link to replays, Click here!
On Track Dining
Hoosier Park dining options include the Homestretch Restaurant, Prime Harvest Buffet, or Homestretch Steakhouse, located in the clubhouse section of the racing building. All facilities are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in Terrace. Johnny Rockets and Naked Tchopstix are located in this area. Concessions and Pizza Hut Express are also offered on the lower level of the grandstand. The casino floor offers The Big Deli, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Shelby's Gifts is located inside the main entrance and will be open during all live racing programs. Anyone with a current Indiana Horse Racing Commission license will receive a 10 percent discount.
Track Photographs and Videos
For winner's circle and other photos, contact Jamie Linscott, track photographer, located on the lower level of the clubhouse at (765) 609-4709. Videotapes may be purchased through the Race Marketing Office on the lower level of the clubhouse or by calling (765) 609-4618. All orders must be paid for in advance or taken from the purse account. Orders may also be placed through the horsemen's bookkeeper, Karen Gilson, at (765) 609-4871.
Hoosier Park provides golf and bowling outings for all horsemen. Events are held on Mondays for anyone holding an IHRC license.
